Unfortunately, but not surprising for me, Henk is right. The docket was again not in court and the case is postponed to the 10th of June.
The judge actually entered the court, but the court room and servants were not done. So he left the court and came back later. Again a waste of time and money.
I have my CC registration number now for a couple of weeks, but I still haven't received the CC registration paper that I will need for SARS, my bank, etc.
So I am stuck with everything at the moment.
I also have my environmental management plan, which is quite a big "thing" and it includes a lot a dry stuff. But that is what they want, even if it is not necessary.

surely the judge can through this case out next tie this happens?
Sorry to hear its dragging on still Marcel. Glad to hear it sounds like you're on more solid ground and ready to bat this whole issue out of the park. ;-)
My experience with courts are that you have many unecessary delays.....I think its almost expected that the dockets wont appear for the first appearances....then the prosecuter may ask for more time "investigate" they always get more time.....then a witness/expert important to the trial is absent....or there are more important cases running on that day....its insane how many reasons they can use to postpone and how much time they waist.....
I would expect this to go for well over a year if your lucky....not to be negative...but thats how I have seen it happen before....its a slow Beurocratic process expect large legal bills.....may have to kick your own lawyers ass to get the ball moving.....

Hey Marcel welcome to typical SA. Sorry that it dragging like this wish it wouldn't though but keep the faith & you'll be the Luckyfish.
If this were the US, it would have likely been dragged out also. Courts are slow...unfortunately.
Its scary how beautiful, diverse, friendly and all round amazing this country of ours can be I mean Cape Town was again crowned best destination in the world. But that same country, city cant even get its people and info to the right place at a give time. And its not only Marcels case its all the time, scary stuff.
Marcel just a question, do you still think that someone who had a grudge against you tip the authorities off or do you think is less likely and maybe at the time it seemed possible due to the anger and confusion.

Trevor, at the moment it doesn't really matter why things went the way they are. If someone is behind all this, I just would like to know why. People who are very close to me, like Zombie_CT, 459b, robvdv and IMarine, know me as straight forward and very outspoken. They know that I don't beat behind the bush and say what I feel to say. They also know that they can tell me everything they want and I will not hold it against them. Unfortunately I also met people here in SA, who do not tell me, when I said or did something wrong. Which is not right as I deserve to know it. I am the one from the foreign country with different background, culture and priorities. It is just fair to tell me when I crossed the border. I treat the people like I want to be treated. Sure there are some who pissed me really off, but they felt it and they also should feel that I can forget about what happened and that everything is back to normal.
Life is about learning from our mistakes, but how can I learn if I don't know what I did wrong?
Hope this answers your question. In case somebody tipped the DAFF off, I will not hold it against the person who did so. I just want to know why. Sure in the beginning I was very angry and would have beaten the crap out of such person. I was really traumatised after they locked me up for an unknown period of time. After almost three months I can say, there are many benefits for me, that came out of this situation. The support on MASA kept me strong and focused. I am on my way back to find my passion to prove the world, what we (myself and my future sidekick) are capable of as CAPEAQUATIX.

Awesome attitude to have even after all the crap that you have been through Marcel! I really hope all this blows away, and you can get back to what you were doing!
I must say though, that this community has been behind you all the way. I really hope to see CAPEAQUATIX become a leader in the field of Fish husbandry!

My partner in Florida, PROAQAUTIX is happy about my company name as it shows the link between the two companies. I am sure that PROAQUATIX and CAPEAQUATIX as a united force will make an impact in this industry.
