Why am I not surprised about what happened at the court today?

My lawyer and myeslf pitched up at the court at 8.30am this morning. Everybody was extremly relaxed and so after 9am, they couldn't find the docket. We had to wait for the docket to arrive, which didn't. Finally at 11am a decision was made by the judge. The case is postponed to the 17th of May 2011.

So nothing has changed yet, besides that I have to pay my lawyer for his time today.
Now I got one arm and one leg left. I am so angry about all this, it really has killed my passion. I don't feel like feeding my fish, I stopped breeding since all this happened.

Marcel, we have talked a lot about this but setbacks do happen. I think I am one of the few who know how much effort , time , money and sacrifice you have gone through to achieve what you have done.

Advice would not be prudent at this time as I think you have had your fill already.

All I can say is good luck & all the best

hang in there Marcel!!! feed the fish and keep em healthy. stop breeding the fish for a while. take some time for yourself. read ' a thousand years of german humour' which will take two minutes and then relax.

read ' a thousand years of german humour' which will take two minutes .

You really think the Germans are very dry guys, not funny and don't have a sense of humor, do you?:)

At least there was one thing, I had to smile about today.

My lawyer has got a file about my case. On this file is a printed sticker with lots of informations, like case number, my name, etc.
The best part is the title of this information sticker.

There is printed: Saving Nemo

I found that very funny and cute from my lawyer.:)

Only us Germans can appreciate German Humor isn't that right Marcel. Everyone else will have a blank look one their face.:tt2:

True. On top if it, I understand the british humor very well. Having a british friend, we both noticed, that we were the only ones, who were laughing when he made a joke while socialsing with south african friends. The seem to stand a bit on the line and it doesn't click so fast. ;)
Sure that is not the norm as I also got south african friends who would understand his jokes immediately.

But I think Glen met the wrong Germans. The Germans I met so far in Cape Town are probably going into their basement for a good laughter.

Don't give up Marcel, I don't think you realise how much you going to benefit our hobby by the law being rewritten for keeping marines.

Don't worry, I am aware of that. But I am tired, my battery is flat. I am doing this now for more than two years, without any benefit so far. Instead the way is getting more and more stony. I saw Shoreline the other day, about Richards bay.
You live in paradise my friend and I haven't forgotten about your offer regarding the beer. ;) According to the German Reinheitsgebot? Na that is German humor.

just pulling the leg you still have(joking). germans are the most hospitable people i have met, especially in namibia. once you start socialising it takes a long time to stop!
and i know you have a sense of humour marcel! ( have you ever read the book 'a thousand years of german humour? it is blank!

Hehe, you told me about the book right in the beginning when I met you.;)
The most hospitable people I came across are south africans and my parents second that as they had a chance to experience it in person for three months.

I usually get coffee or cooldrinks, when I am busy at my customers houses. But at my German customers here in SA, I only got once a cooldrink offered.
