I would think using your sump with some decent feather caulerpra would probably be your best option,nice filtration etc,just make sure your flow is slow and the overflow is properly baby friendly with sponge etc...
also a big advantage of that set up would be the diversity in food supply which you could obviously supplement

sorry I haven't updated this thread for some time.
I lost all the babies from the last brood, but not to worry, they have just had some more on Thursday, just got them in the little jebo for now, with the top covered to below the water level.
been trying to grow my caulurpa, but just not taking as well as I would like. will keep you in the loop.

Nice man send some this way lol my tanks properly matured(tested with a mandarin for over two years now and he's grown fully) and i got lots of caulerpra in my sump with pods galore.....

On cleaning the tank this morning found a couple dead one... to be expected by now. can't really take pics as they are so small, about 6-8mm only.

My male also gave birth last night (Tiger Tail Seahorse/ H. comes), unfortunately I have not organised to get some stuff off Liaquat that I wanted, I managed to catch one this morning and saw at least two more. Both the LFS's don't have artemia eggs, I tried one two weeks ago and the other this morning, I've organised to get some newly hatched brine shrimp from someone tomorrow though. If I only find a few fry I will just get better prepared for next time.

Be prepared for more tomorrow, they seem to have a couple the 1st morning and then many more the next morning.... thats what I've found so far at least...
Can't remember if this was discussed or if you know, but the parents WILL eat them if left in the main tank.

They don't require as much as you would think compared to fish on the equipment side of things, depending on tank size you may require a skimmer, and corner bubble filter, don't need power heads and that. On my 180l Juwel, I only have a small hang-on jebo skimmer and use the built in corner sponge filter, you can use std FW lighting, but I've changed one tube to blue just for the eye. The dificult part is the food, they require live food if not captive bread, and I've yet to come across captive bread seahorses, so it means setting up a tank to bread young river shrimp to feed them. if you really keen let me know, can help you set up.
