Final Upgrade

Hi Fellow Reefers,
Decision has been taken – consolidate current two tanks into one upgraded tank
No pictures yet, need builder to remove a wall, paint, plaster etc. (wife is thrilled). Also converting outside store-room into water mixing room which will be plumbed direct into the tank.
Tank Details
· 1500mm x 1,200mm x 600mm (water level at 550mm)
· +- 1,000L with sump
· Metal Frame, cabinet & matching open top trim
· Skinny overflow & Euro braced
Equipment List
· Deltec TC 2060 skimmer (rated for 1,700l)
· Deltec KM500 Kalk Stirrer
· Deltec FR512 Fluidised Reactor (NP Pellets)
· Jag Heaters 300w (x2)
· Hailea Hc 1,000 Chiller Unit
· 2x MP40 Vortech pumps (plus additional SunSun Pumps)
· Aquatronic Controller System
· Profilux Dosing Pump (with built in controller)
· Phosphate Reactor (TLF)
· Carbon Reactor (TLF)
Lighting Unit
· Custom made T5 Light fitting – 12 x 80w bulbs
So that is about it for now – just need builder to do his thing & then LFS to do his thing & we should have tank with water ASAP.
Will post photo’s as soon as something happens, but just so I don’t get “banned” this is where the tank will stand & which wall needs to be knocked out

Evening fellow Reefers,

So some progress pictures (please excuse the pics, just quickly done in a rush so I don’t get banned LOl), Exotic Aquariums are building the tank & doing the installation, this is where we are at

> wall knocked down
> plumbing in the ceiling from wateroom to tank
> re-tiled, painted & repaired ceiling

Now some pics - outside store room painted, tiled (with bits and pieces I had lying around LOL) & plumbing run through the ceiling.

Then inside this is where we at – stand, cabinet, sump etc (with plumbing from outside store room already run through the ceiling)
