Really cool tank, I could learn a bit from you considering we've got the same tank.
Please show what you've got in your sump.:m102:
Also i see you also have some particles in your water column, have you ever tried removing them or had any success removing them?

Thanks bud. I’ll post a pic of my sump in the morning. It’s basic. Nitracubes using the bomb method, phosgaurd, skimmer, flow pump and carbon. Nothing else. I don’t use filter socks. I just siphon the detritus from my sump bottom once a week.

How about an update and some pics. You give out great advice but hiding your tank. Dont make the demand mob move over to your thread.
Sadly this one is going down. Moving to the Netherlands end of next month but I'm excited to start up again which I'll do as soon as I settle in. So the photos I'm posting now are my last.

Thanks bud. Looking forward to it. I’ll definitely stay on forum. Once I’ve settled in,I’ll be setting up a tank again. Can’t wait. Will start a thread to share the hobby in all its glory over there.

Cool, my brother has a missive koi pond over there.
He is intrested in getting a marine tank, but have no one to help him.

Once you are settled, you can maybe get in touch with him.
Lots of SA friends there!
