what pumps are you using for the returns?
how is the tank going to drain to the sump? pump as well? what about failure and flooding?
i am just curious to see how you got around this

Will be using Eheim pumps (one pump is 3,000lph & one is 5,000lph)
Slimline overflow with airhole in return line incase of power failure - so hopefully no flooding

Will try and take some more pics tonight

so are you pumping from the tank to the sumps? and then pumping back? since the piping is through the roof

Hi dallas, know I understand the question. Pipes from water room in the ceiling are for water changes & r/o top up only. Sump is under the tank, gravity fed through slime line overflow - hope that makes sense?

cool, its does :)

Thanks all for tagging along - some progress pictures (once again just some quick pic's please excuse - will take some serious shots once she is up & running fully)

Are you going to run two computer systems on this tank? In the pic's I see two Aquatronica power bars and then you say "place for profilux dosing pumps".

Hi Mathew, Aquatronic to control / run everything except the dosing (already had the Profilux dosing pump with built-in controler, so will still use that for dosing).

Tank should be all up and running tonight - let the cycle begin

WOW cant wait to see this beauty fully stocked!!

Looks really great Michael B. Cannot wait to see your scaping. Your tank size is exactly the same as mine! Enjoy!!
