Elrond's 700x700x650 cube

Hey guys, just an update on the system.

After having a few electrical problems with my T5 ballasts, I've been preparing to redo the lighting and add some reflectors to my system. I spent about 4 hours preparing the wiring etc and the actual change and rewiring took me 6 hours! I couldn't believe it, I'm happy with the outcome so here's hoping I have no more earth leakage trips.

As you can see in the above pic, I had some LED strips in there which I was testing. 2 white and 2 blue. Unfortunately both whites have cracked to pieces and the resin was falling apart within 2 months - becareful what you buy:

I redid everything and am simply using the blue LED strips as moonlights, it looks pretty! The result of 6 hours effort and testing the 'moonlights':

I also replaced all my bulbs with Giesemanns, what do you think of the combination?

The end result and a updated FTS after I donated my Sinularia to the LFS as it was getting too big :(

I cant really say I notice much difference in brightness, hopefully time will tell if my SPS frags like the new light and if they continue to grow nice and fast!

Very nice setup here, i want a cube setup like this!! who can i call for pricing? :p

looking great man :)

Hey dudes/dudettes,

It's been awhile so figured why not give an update. I havent added any corals or fish but added a chiller which has made the world of difference during the summer weeks, evaporation is down, kh is stable. yay.

I added some SPS in September (frags) and thought I'd show the awesome growth of the Monti:
