I've been posting updates on my tank and greenhouse on another forum but thought I should share with the folks over here.

Here's the tank as planned:

I'm getting shafted by the acrylic guy. He's more than two months overdue for delivery, so I don't know when I'll actually see the tank installed. In any case, I'll keep you posted.

The coral greenhouse is going much better. Here's what's planned:

The second image isn't accurate, but it'll give you an idea of the feel of the place.

Here are some build shots. These pipes come from the tank in the house:

So there we are. My reefkeeping and propagation/breeding efforts to date.

hey Rob, really great to see this comming together.

Yours and Bob the reef builders tanks must be driving you guys mental with the length of time its taking, but its brilliant to see the space set asiden and it all comming together.

oh, and ive taken some metla barings on the mountains in the back ground, i'll def come hunt you down when i am next in CPT and that tank best be finished, cycles and stocked!! :)

well done mate, looking very exciting :)

Hey, Crispin :)

Yeah, it's definitely an exercise in patience. You talk and plan and talk and eventually you make some progress.

The coral snuffed it by natural causes. Wasn't me ;)

It's roughly 3x2x2 meters lit by natural sunlight. I was thinking of keeping sardines.

Looking phenomenal Rob! I'm more interested in your greenhouse! You have to let me come look when you're done, i'm dying to see it completed and running...;)

green house went up fast:thumbup: and looks great sofar

tagging along

that really is awesum depth though. really looking forward to seeing your scaping.

Mike took me to see a great tank in the UK, i think it was a little under 1.5m deep and he did great work scaping vertically with a cave inside the structure. I can try find a pic of the over all tank if u wanted, but stupidly i never photographed the aquascape well enough. Perhaps mike could ask the fella how he did it, i am sure you would get some good advice. It really was a spectacular tank :)
