i read there that some of the guys still get bacterial blooms in their DT's ? and hectic at that judging by the pics. were they perhaps doing something wrong??

it def looks like its a wicked idea!
Probably related to overdosing. These are the problems of overdosing any bacteria and Carbon.

yep the thread has gone quiet.. i saw somone on RC asking if this could be used on startup of a system or only on established reefs...so c'mon okes...

I know that Lanzo and Dewald are running a tank in the shop with ONLY NP pellets in a reactor. The tank looks healthy and there is no pest algae in the tank, so it must work. I'm busy planning on changing over to the NP pellets. Need to remove my DSB as it's totally inefficient.
