I still might add a bit more Live Rock, and I need to get some LR rubble for the filtration chambers at the back. And then I'm just going to leave this tank alone for 2 months before I even think about adding some Live Stock. Well, maybe a softy or 2?

Anyhoos, just to show you greedy picture monsters that I did in fact do something about this tank!! :tt2:
 
Thanks Dane. I want this tank to be dominated by Zoas and Riccordeas. I am looking into Sexy Shrimp. As soon as the tank is ready for LS, I will order some Sexy Shrimp. No doubt about it. I was also thinking about those awesome little Acro Crabs! They rock as well!

I might add one or 2 mushrooms, but they have to be seriously colourful!

Nope, it's not going to become a frag tank. I am having one of those built for me at the moment!

It's a 2000L Seio. I will try find something smaller soon. But it works.

Ah yes :) Now that I can definitely recommend, most amazing little inverts ever! But i suggest you be prepared to feed the tank with some form of filter feeder food then. I don't think they can "just get by" in a nano - not enough bioload and associated water born food.

Newbie double checking...:blush:...I've got a SEIO 530 2000LPH in my BOYU 450TL...is it the same as you'rs...?(not sure now if my housing looks the same as your's)... I'm asking because I see you mention that you will find something smaller...is it to strong...? I'm actually wondering if I have enough flow in my Tank...for future Coral...by the looks of some of the Tanks, my flow looks weak in comparision to some....

That's the same as mine. I've just taken the front cover off.

It should actually be enough in terms of flow, combined with the little pump from the overflow box.

I'll only be keeping softies, so I don't want too much flow in the tank. Only for the Zoas.
 
Would my flow then be considered to be "medium" or "low"..? When the Sites describe the living conditions of certain Coral....my flow bounces of my glass at an angle....I assume directly in the firing line would be "high" and the larger part "medium"..?:blush:

I think so. You may want to try and point your pump right at your Live rock. But try to positio your pump a little further to the front of the tank and point it backwards.

You don't want anything out of my main tank for about 2 - 3 months. Just in-case the Brooklynella cysts attach to the rock they are on... Trust me, you REALLY don't want that stuff in a tank.

I told the Proteas not to drop the bat! That's what I was doing in a Supersport Promo... :yeahdude::tt2:
