Took some photos tonight.
I got myself this pair of long finned sandsifters (Valenciennea longipinnis). I am hoping they will keep the detritus from settling in the sand and thus reduce the DOCs in the tank. They have started to clean up already and kicking up a lot of dirt which I am trapping with socks on the overflows.

The shop fed the gobies frozen ox heart but they have already taken to frozen brine and mysis as well. I hope they wont cover everything in sand, but they already dropped sand on the rics on the sand. So I will most probably move them a little higher. Small sacrifice for clean sand.

id say that camera is slightly more expensive than his tankI'm loaded with MB...woo-hoo...

Camera is a Canon 7D with a 100mm macro lens.
Did not have a tank thread on MASA. SO first one for me here.

The marines have weighed more on the wallet at this stage. I wish I could upgrade to the 5DIII but alas the finances are not there. I even considered selling the corals to fund it but got told by the wife that I was crazy. But one day I will have one.
