You can try injecting the aptasia with a hyperdermic needle and kalkwasser or something like lemon juice...

yes there is a blue wavey line and thats where i started it out. the manual says you can run it a lillt higher if you are running it in a skimmer. i have lifted the skimmer about 3cm and its performing alot better also been playing with the airscrew and its working great
this is the high it was at you can see the blue line for the water line. its about 3cm higher now.

Thanks guys.
So this morning i found 2 new life forms in the tank. 1 looks to be a baby shrimp its floating around the tank. Its only about 5mm long and clear but has all the parts of a shrimp. But i couldn't get a clear picture of it. 2nd life form is a green slug but i'm not sure what it is or if it's good or bad. I will post a pic now.

Unfortunatly i couldnt focus my little slow cell phone camera on the shrimp/ crustatian like creature floating around to get a picture. lol maybe time to get a better camera.

Tested the water parameters last night used red sea marine lab.
It tests ph, alk, NH3/NH4, NO2 and NO3
Salinity - 1.025
PH - 8.4 (PH using PH pen 8.3)
ALK - 1.7 milli equaivalents per liter (i found a converter online and its +- 5dkh)
NH3/NH4 - +-0.05ppm(almost showed zero and the next one up on the card is 0.25 and the colour was closer to 0 then 0.25)
NO2 - 0.05ppm
NO3 - 5ppm
The live rock has been in for 8 days now and about 2.5weeks total running of the system. I have also spoted a few spots of light brown algae in the sump.
Any comments welcomed.

This is definitely a nudibranch, it is an elysia species (aka leaf slug) just not to sure which one exactly. They feed on algae, so no need to worry.

I got some diatoms growing here and there i guess thats part of the cycling.
More importantly i got me some of this...
and did this....
works really fast can see the aipatasia shrivel up and wither away.
Also stoped past builders and got me a few supply's.
and the result an ATS
and spotted a few of these not sure what they are. Can Anybody ID them? Every time I look at the tank, I see something new and it's still only cycling. Man this is a great hobby!

Thanks Atilla its sugar fine argonite. looks great yes. pain in the butt if i move the pumps one way or the other i get little whirlwinds that lifts sone of it on to the rocks.
Your tank is coming along well, you got one of those funky "furry crabs"...They seem to be hitchikers from mars because I have come across them in my tank too on startup. They tag along with the LR but not a trainsmash for right now, I have been told that a Wrasse will sort them out in no time. You will also get other randon weird thing popping out of all sorts of crevises which the Wrasse is said to have a full course meal of. The info I have been given is that the Wrasse will eat the junk you don't want but leave the goodies on your LR you need - when I got my LR it took about a week before it suddenly "came alive" with all sorts of creatures which kept me amused for hours in spotting new things...brilliant hobby and wouldn't have it any other way...
