Hey reefers. Is a 150w MH enough light for keeping SPS. I'm thinking of adding another and 2 x T5 20 000k. What do you suggest? Advice would be appreciated.

Thanks a carpenter @ work had it done for me.

looks great....hopefully i can pull some thing off like that. hows the tank doing and got any new livestock or equipment?

Could be either the A. Valida, A. Secale or A. Nana- will need to grow out a bit more before it can even provisionally be IDed (would really need to look at the skeleton to get it right). The three Ive listed have all been called Tri-color Bonsais or variations of it.

At the end of the day, its a stunning coral, Well done Ayoob. Strong lighting and strong flow for that piece

Thanks @Len. That is a Sps crab came with the coral. Amazing creature to watch when its feeding time, it tosses and turns all around coral reaching for food.
@SApicoreef, sure you can pull it off. Everything has changed since then, added some big corals, rescape, removed 9kg LR, added a BOYU WM3 pumps and a extra MH. So will update as soon as i get a descent camera.

Thanks for ID and positive feed back. Its still my most prized coral cant wait for it to grow out and it still looks the same after almost 2 months. Have added extra MH for about 2 weeks now because I felt one was not enough light. Also added wm3 pumps to increase flow a week ago, got it at a very good price so could not refuse. But initial plan was a mp10, so when these pack up ill get 1 mp10 or mp40.

sound great......cant wait to set up my tank with the mp10's also as i just love the controllability of them.
really stunning pumps and worth every cent that you pay!!

what lights do you have over your tank as in 2x150w or 2x250w

thanks
