So eventually got my new lighting unit. It's the Aqua Medic AquaSunlight (2 X 250W,4 X 54W T5's). Stripped it completely today so that I could clean it properly before it goes up. Just have to get new MH and T5 bulbs before I do that though.

What did you have before?

Well my DIY lighting unit has 4 X 54W T5's and 3 X 150W MH's although I was only running 2 MH du to the other ballast "tripping" the earth leakage

I will have to acclimatise the corals over a 2 week period or so as I will also be getting new bulbs

sweet unit pity you cant get them anymore, new they are just too expensive.. you lucky you got that one i was also eyeing it out but 2 x 150 was just enough for me.
