Tekk's RSM 650 (The "Who Needs Furniture Anyway?" Edition)

Absolute stunner of a tank, @tekkengal, and the fact that your setup is so uncomplicated makes it even more impressive.

Wow! Beautiful array of colour!

Thank you! Going to try some supplements to get the sps colours to pop a bit more though. :)

Looking really good there!! So when do we see the new boy??

Thanks JC! Only once out of qt, want to make sure that he is settled properly before showing him off :)

Thanks as well! I need it uncomplicated otherwise I start to lose interest. Or make a mistake and everything goes out of whack :m28:

Looking really really good. Nice pics like how you dropped the blue to see how the tank looks in real life.

Thank you! :)
I do try to get the white balance right though it does unbalance some other colours, like those of the nennie. I have a feeling that many people will be disappointed if they see the nennie without the "photoshop"

@tekkengal - truly stunning! And the frags are to die for! The Watermelon Chalice especially and the Red Planet! Your collection is truly impressive and the health of the tank is top notch!
Thanks! Your dealer owes you commission though  I was super stoked when he said those two in particular where available.

Hahahaha, no commission needed - just pleased that he could help you with those pieces! Stunning stuff!

Just a quick mini update, I see that I somehow ended up with an urchin in the tank, don't know which coral it hitched on. Not the best of pics but you can see his little spikes:

Had a bit of an issue with the carx which cause some stn and lost two millis but other than that, the tank has been doing well for a change. I'm out of space on the rocks for any more sps, which makes me sad.

Wow that anemone! Awesome!

Lol there is always upwards and onwards for rockwork to add more sps to ;)

I see you also have a chalk bass...got 2 myself this weekend after years of searching...awesome little guys!

Thanks Mark! The Chalk Bass are such awesome fish, I'm really glad you got yours! My anthia is giving them a bit of grief at the moment but I got some other fish now to help disperse the aggression.

I got an awesome fish from an awesome petstore!
He is in the tank now, had some skirmishes with the Regal and Tomini but that subsided after a day or two. I must say, he never broke out with ANY whitespot at all, was super surprised and exceptionally happy with this.

Will post some pics this evening or tomorrow morning :)

Tank is still chugging along, fish are doing well and coral are still around. I had to move a few sps to the bottom of the tank because the achilles was hurting himself on them at night.

The achilles is doing well (thank you so much again, @Atilla ), I was really nervous when I introduced him as I had three established tangs (regal, naso and tomini) and was worried that they would be a-holes but after a week they are all friends. He has a particularly cute relationship with the naso, I must see if I can upload a vid of them one of the days. The only thing with the achilles is they get hurt so easily! If you sniff harshly in their general direction they get bruised. Thankfully they heal quickly.

FTS after a tank clean and dose of coral snow so please excuse the cloudiness:
