Tekk's RSM 650 (The "Who Needs Furniture Anyway?" Edition)

What an beauty indeed, am very glad it settled in peacefully :swim:, happy days to follow :slayer:

Tank is still chugging along, fish are doing well and coral are still around. I had to move a few sps to the bottom of the tank because the achilles was hurting himself on them at night.

The achilles is doing well (thank you so much again, @Atilla ), I was really nervous when I introduced him as I had three established tangs (regal, naso and tomini) and was worried that they would be a-holes but after a week they are all friends. He has a particularly cute relationship with the naso, I must see if I can upload a vid of them one of the days. The only thing with the achilles is they get hurt so easily! If you sniff harshly in their general direction they get bruised. Thankfully they heal quickly.

FTS after a tank clean and dose of coral snow so please excuse the cloudiness:

Only a pleasure sourcing such a healthy beauty for you and seeing the care and diligence you take in caring for him/her.
Well done

I have been a little irritated with the scape on the right hand side of the tank as I couldn't do much with it. Plus I was running out of space and there have been a few good shipments of coral coming in that I have been missing out on. So I tasked Mr Fish Tank Guy to do a scape and I must say I am very happy with the outcome. Now to get it in the tank...

Thanks!
I know how you feel, I was not going to but eventually said #@% it and got it. Still need to figure out how to cycle it out of the tank since it it is a big piece.

How is your tank doing?

My tank is on hold 'again'. Might be relocating to a new job. Then hopefully I can go full blast on my setup.

That pinnacle is going to add some awesome height to the tank. I like.

Thanks!
I had someone say that the rock looks like the rock from Lion King

Hopefully it comes through soon! :)

Looks amazing that pinnacle. You can always put it in a bucket of tapwater with a bottle of peroxide from Dischem, should oxidise out any organics and minimize any cycle that might occur when adding it. I've cleaned dead rock like that before, and it comes out extremely clean, doesn't smell like anything weird afterwards like "fresh" dry rock.

Thank you for that info. I am going to try that tonight. Got a few goodies over the weekend that I can't wait to set on it :)

That looks very cool...told you, you can always build upwards :D

Thinking of doing the same myself with my middle rock...you’ve inspired me to take a serious look at it.

Meh....sticks...I want the fish :swim::m07:
Ditto to what @hotdog83 said

And the funny thing is that your tank (the progression pics) was the reason why I had a hard look at my rock structure and decided I wanted to change it!
