Polario ML22 - 22000lph flow pump review

Thanx Andreas....been going about 2/3 months with new fan....lets see

ALTHOUGH having said that....I am not THAT impressed with the Polario as I thought I would be. It worked ok in my rectangular tank but I still think the flow is quite one directional....doesnt work well in my corner tank at all :p

One has to keep in mind most new products go through teething problems, just scary as this pump has been years in the making !

At this stage my opinion is mixed....cool toy with irrating habits, but does provide nice flow although I think not suitable for all tank designs....and then I was under the impression that it could easily be plumbed to a CLS.....NOT

FransSny like you've mentioned years in the making...I think it sucks...I do hope when they do sort out the problem that they will sort out who ever got these pumps...

Hell Mek , you keep on getting the stuff made 3 o'clock on a Friday ! I will open mine & post a pic...maybe you can show it to your supplier :p

sheesh meks you really are getting the worse of the stuff it seems. the little fan in mine used to make some noise in the begining but has been running for 5 months now with absolutely no noise, and the flow from the pump is fantastic
 
such a pity but the up side is the technology is alredy in place so it can only be improved upon.. so lets hold thumbs as im really interested in this specific pump..

Les, and everybody else out there, please do not buy this pump and fall into a trap like me. It gives excellent flow, but the controller is not in order and the pump itself makes a loud whine which I can here in my bedroom downstairs. Wait for a totally new controller to be produced not just fans swapped.
 
thats what im saying given that we are this far already and at least someting like this has been concieved and constructed surley there can only be improvments on this.. we need the guys from ecotech to have a look at this and come up with something of a simular quality to vortech..
 
Vortechs are still the bomb
