Im glad cos having (imo) SAPTA helping set up law dictating or influencing local breeding of ornamentals makes me veeery nervous..

Lmfao.. I was aiming to have my age display as 100 years. however is said invalid age. so i opted to go for a young gun.

This alleged "organisation" that is apparently fighting for us as hobbyists needs to be added to the list of the Top 10 Secret Societies of the world I think. Everything seems to be such a secret. They are fighting for "us", but we don't know anything about it and they won't tell us anything either. Very cloak and dagger...:detective:

because there were to many who were happy it didnt happen, and it was decided that some ground work needed to be done to get all the heat that was generated here and much confusion as to what was actually law and not.

but i will lay it all out later today when i get time to write, and while we have the facts from DAFF, the DA, the legal teams used, alot we wont like and alot that can change.
another reason was that there is no need to a thread slating the government and laws when they actively follow the 3 local forums and just make things harder....

That's not the intention, and we'll guard against that, but if we don't know what's going on then it's all just speculation and chit chat. Knowledge is power, fill us in and we'll support you, but keep us in the dark then people will turn to slating other people. The only reason I am voicing my opinion now is because I am getting asked questions via PM and email and I end up looking like an idiot because I don't have any answers. I fear that keeping quiet is doing more damage than good to the reputation of this 'secret' organisation. Just my thoughts. :)
 
+1 on not slating any government department. This IMO is vital if we want to gain any sort of credibility.

I am sure those involved have worked hard in gaining some respect. Please guys, don't throw this ground work down the sewer. :thumbup:
