One question on air bubbles, is it good to put air stone or bubbles from tank pump in the tank? If yes or no, why?

Also, i have put 2 yellow tangs to the aquarium already for 1 weeks but there still afraid of people. When ever i go near, they hide and they refuse to eat when give but they eat things on the rock or glass only.

I have one question on my sump, my current sump config. as per diagram A, i wish to change to setup B . The reason is the water level, with diagram B my water will remain in the DSB longer compare diagram A because the partician is too low in diagram A.
Is this philosophy or idea correct ? Please help to comment...

it wont make much of a difference as your turn over rate is the same as dictated by your return pump.

but in the second set-up you have a larger refugium and more water volume but you need the make the glass between the skimmer and dsb bigger so that good stuff the dsb dont get skimmed out.

Thanks very much Falcon for your advise.
My intension for the second set up is to keep the water longer on the first 2 section before it go to the the third partition returning to tank.
I might add a bit more smaller sand to the first 2 compartment and might add another bucket outsite the tank with skimmer before entering to the first compartment.
Is this a good idea making the sump more efficient?

wow I have one exactly like that lol caught in a rock pool, awesome little fish that eat algae...my other fish seem to hate him though lol but hes tough as rocks and has been in my tank for over 3 years.

not sure of species but definitely a good addition to you tank with a nice character, quite fast!

yes, moving up and down everywhere, only the damsel like to disturb him.
Very cute guy in the tank.

that is a good idea david, your sand level need not be higher than 15cm david.
here is the new look of the sump after some modification

The big shell Hermit is being put down to the sump that it been knocking all my corals down. So are the 2 mantis shrimps and the star fish help to clean the sump.
In between second and last compartment, a nitrate pad is put into the gap help to reduce the no3 and also keep the third compartment clean.
Below is another shot on the overall tank.

Looking AWESOME David! Great show man! I am nearly "back to normal" - just going through a really crazy and terrible time in my life!
Nice to hear from you again, your knowledge and experience is much needed here.
Just bought myself a second hand calcium reactor.

There is a hose connecting to the CO2, i wonder how to determine the require bubble require? CO2 still not purchace yet, can i temporary run this reactor?

HOLY COW that is a big reactor. David you need the CO2 to break down the calcium media, so it will only be able to run when you have the CO2, i'm not sure exactly how these things work so hopefully someone will come along who knows what you need

yeah scuba is right david, but are you testing for calcuim levels?whats it at now ?

i see you dont have very calcuim demanding corals besides the euphilia so why did you get a reactor?

with your type of tank its so easy to maintain calcuim levels with a spoon or two of kalkwasser.ask your local pharmacy for slaked lime.

the only time you need a huge reactor like that is if you got a large tank FULL of SPS.

i thought it could give me a more stabilize calcium parameter, in long run may save me some additive cost, is this right?
