The front portion color green and back orange, will this whole thing turn green or orange later? And the top picture, David - looks like a zoanthid species. Quite a nice one at that!
would that be some sort of leather? i have something similer in my tank tooi agree with franssny and jasquesb.
but to avoid confusion dont call the second one a mushroom coral!
pin-cushion or sarcophyton would be the most suitable names
and no normally zoanthids dont loose the color difference but the degree of colour may change according to tank conditions.
New position of the corals, as you can see, the Goniopora is moved far apart from the hammer. 2 weeks ago, i caught the hammer tasticles attacking the Goniopora. Even now far apart, the hammer tasticle keep extenting longger and longer, why?

Below my Goniopora, it seems getting bigger and bigger, i wonder it will attack other corals?

Thanks Fransny, typing mistakes.wongdavidch, very well done on keeping the goniopora healthy![]()
as for the hammer they can extend their sweeper tentacles very far in order to feed,if you are target feeding the goniopora that may be why it is heading towards that side, best is to move it quite far away from the other corals
BTW I think you meant tentacles & not testicles (two really different things)![]()
