My Old 4ft Reef Attempt Upgrade

I am having a serious problem with humidity. I am currently renting so I am not allowed to install a extractor fan in the ceiling. What are my options?

Might sound funny but i got a lot of these silica bags in the bottom of the cabernet to reduce humidity. Dont know if that could help.

What type of window frames does the house have?
Could you fit a fan unit within an open window?

Small update.

Filled the tank with saltwater and finished the plumbing on both outlets.

Water is heating up and added the rw8.

Tomorrow I will go buy the plumbing for the return pump.
If all goes well Ill add the the live rock and fish on sunday.

I should not get a cycle due to the rock and fish are in my temporary holding system.

Good luck, just to be safe, I would use something like Seachem Stability and Prime, just to make sure nothing untoward happens.

Hi guys.

Managed to transfer all the live stock and rock 2 days ago. Everything is doing really well.
Also finished the plumbing for the return pump.

So all is hooked up. I suspended the led fixtures only running on one channel due to me blowing my 20 amp power supply.
Overall Im happy withe the results, did however spot a scratch in the center of the tank that I have no idea how it got there, So all that buying and re buying new glass without a scratch was quite pointless.
I have searched the web and found a company called WiseCracks who claims to remove scratches even till the depth of your nail hooking on the scratch so might give that a go if they manage to eventually come back to me.
