Bacteria can survive a range of temp, so there most likely very little/no die off keeping them without a heater.

I must add that each time I went into the garage after a day without opening it, the entire room was very humid and quite a lot warmer than inside my house. Could be due to the heat from sun hitting that roof causing the garage to heat up and produce evaporation considering that there were no ventilation.

yes, I just cut the nozzle to about 6mm dia. and press it flat with some pliers.

Will be ordering the bracing tomorrow. Wanted to take the old scratched 10mm panels I still have to get cut up. But the place (cheaper place) charges R25 a cut which will work out to about R400, So I will rather order new glass and maybe save some money.

Ordered the glass for the overflow box. Will receive it tomorrow.
Will be able to build it on the weekend.

Started to to clean the silicone off the display. What a mission. The black silicone is really way more tough than normal clear. just hope I dont scratch the glass.

Haha yea, I managed to silicone some parts of the box together. Will continue tonight.

Still waiting for the bracing unfortunately.

Finished the overflow box.

Also injected the gaps where the spacers were and cleaned the entire tank.

The bracing was ordered yesterday so should receive it by the end of this week. So hopefully we can finish this tank on the weekend.

I finally got the last pieces of glass to finish the tank. Will start building tomorrow morning. Also need to get more silicone.
