So I have been looking for a RBTA for quite a while now and got one from the LFS. I went to collect today and the way they handle it made me cancel the purchase. I then went to one of our sponsors where a nice GBTA has been waiting for me. Here is a pic just shortly after adding it.

I am not an expert when it comes to nennies but does this look healthy to you? I noticed the tentacles are quite sticky and grabs free floating flakes and frozen mysis. Should I still feed twice weekly?

It does look quite healthy. It seems to have some nice colours too. Its gonna be a beauty later on. Did you put it in medium flow? And about midway in the tank? I see its got a nice spot where its foot is quite protected; this helps in letting the nennie settle as it likes to protect its foot. I hope it doesnt go for walks, are your pumps protected?

The foot of the nennie is wedged in the rock and I placed it in a medium flow area. Pumps arent protected yet

Yip, looks healthy, nice colour to it. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a small bit of fish every couple of days. :)

glad u got him keyaam, pity u couldnt get the RBTA.

looks healthy imo, clowns start "visiting it" yet?

Yah but honestly this nennie is nicer:whistling:. Clown is still hiding since he went down the overflow

That's perfect, cut off the head and tail and feed the head to your shrimps, then cut the remaining piece of fish into ½cm pieces and feed a piece every couple of days.

Can I hijack this post a bit. I see you advise silversides from PicknPay. The shop is rellavance here. How sure are we that the fish bought in a store is not injected with brine and if so what could the effects be on our marine live? Currently I stick with the frozen food from the LFS.

Great healthy looking nennie keyaam it's colours are just awesome.

Thanks orange

I have two questions.

1) the nennie is not opening fully yet. How long will it take?
2) my nennie seems to be grabbing alot of food that floats by. Should i still feed it twice a week?

Mine opened within 24hours,only then i fed him.
also when i feed the fish, the clown also feeds the nennie.

Has he stayed in one place?

wots ur params like?
If he never moved since u placed him, just give him time to adapt
