Please PM me where you got the MH's units with separate ballasts, I would like to compliment my 450w of t5's with some metal halide.

The PC fan system works well, just need to have something to switch it on and off. I have two above my sump and my temp only moves 1.5 degrees either way

:) At least you keep yourself busy by achieving the TOTM award, which is a Good Thing. I have not yet had time to start a new tank, there is just too much going on right now. Once winter starts I'll have more time me thinks, and I'll be sure to post progress on here.

Yeah, but you could use something, else or use a timer and run them all day, if it gets too cold the heaters will kick in.

It took me 3 years to have a system like yours and u did it in 1.
Great going there bud

 dude, your system is 1000% more prettier than mine, but thanks for the complement

Hi Lanzo your tank is looking excellent my type of tank bra, you were hiding this from us so long, because your tank is so simple it just shows us newbies it can be done :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Hi
i was wondering if you had any pics of the tank when you were designing the rock formation before the corls were added.:p

click on the progress pics, they will enlarge.

i just kept on adding Lr every time.

first i had a small rock work in middle of tank(fish swam around it)
then i started to get allot of coralline growth on the back panel( so i decided to build the back panel closed)

HI Lanzo.Being on a limited budget myself I needed to see and hear your story like you wouldnt believe. I am just so motivated by your setup and what you have achieved.I am at the stage of the tank in the first pic of your write up and I know Im far from your end result, but it just feels that little bit closer.
Well done and thanks for the inspiration.
