And guys, judging by the way Lanzo replies to each message seperately, I think he should get the guy with best character award too, we can see you take your time to give your full attention to each person.;)

Cause he is a student with a lot of time on his hands....:whistling:

Excellent setup. A well deserved TOTM.

BUT 4mm glass thickness on the display, you're a brave brave man......

i didn't even know that my glass is to thin(at that time), thats how i got it:p
I need to be carefully when i move rocks around in my tank, one small little bump can shatter my dt

Howzit Lanzo, well done man, the way you have gone about setting up is inspiring and I'll take a lot from you as I am a newb myself on a limited budget and really want to have a cool tank. Something that I can learn from.

Well done, and, I'll check again if you've posted on my tank thread, you're more than welcome to help me build an awesome system on a small budget :). You deserve totm ;)

shot man, i'll check your thread out again:thumbup:

Lanzo, 1 concern I have with your hood, you have your ballasts on the inside of your hood are you not worried about them rusting etc. I am no sparky but it seems to be very dangerous.

i haven't seen any rust on my mh or ballast ....yet, i think it is due to my pc fan in my hood

i added the fan, because my hood bent all the time, due to the evaporation and the wood sucking up all the moisture.

will it still rust?

Just worried about salt build up. They are very close to the water.

yip they are very close to the water(MH), i shattered my top glass covers.

i don't have any salt creep in dt or on my hood(weired)

hey mr Canada man:slayer:

Me and my girl misses you and your family very very much.

have you started a tank there yet:whistling:

Lanzo, how do those MH's effect the temperature of your system. It looks like they mounted under the hood

you don't whant to know what my temp can be in the summer( 25 at mornig an 30 at midday and the 26 at night)

in the winter my temp is stable

So you have no cooling system - chiller or fans ?

What MH unit is that ?

diy my brother;)

2x 150w mh 10000k thise with the ballast box( not a unit)

no chiller- do you want to sponsor me one my friend:whistling:

i run one pc fan, and it seems to help a bit , without it my temp will rise to 33 in the summer
