Haha ya, good ol container! The overflow can do 3500 LPH and I'm using a waveline DC3000 which can do 3000lph on its max setting which I probably won't run at. In the test it handled perfectly on max setting though.

looks good!!.... cant wait to see it without the masking tape etc.

you must let the silicone cure for like 21 days or something to give it maximum strength..not really sure

maybe @dallasg could help as he has just finished his tank with curing etc.

Ya that's a good time to wait for bigger tanks with much thicker glass where the silicone is also thick. I think next weekend should be ok for a fresh water test for mine. What do you guys think?:thumbup:

silicone takes 24h to cure, 48 to be safe add a few more days to be extra safe for us aquarium guys, make it a few weeks if your tank is really big.

I let it cure 1 day per ml gap over the 48hrs

remember to put down a thick sponge on the stand or tank;)

also have you though of any small gobies for your tank and other fish beside the picassos your getting...
 
Nice work bud. Can you take a close-up pic of one of the corners. Want to see how close you masked the edges off. Have you got rock yet? Seeing how shallow your tank is, you are going to cry when you see my 'hopeful' setup :tt2:
