Well you all know how these tanks work.
Lets see how this one develops

There is about 15kgs of Vietnam and Kenyan rock in there.
Would have liked to do a bonzai look, but tried to pack as much as I could in there to get the filtration benefit of the rock.

Got a hairy cream looking crab in there, will ultimately have to come out.

Plan for this nano is LPS and mushrooms (ricordia dominated)
Fish should hopefully include:
Yasha goby
Blue spotted jaw fish
Greenband goby
Yellow coral goby
Helfrich's Firefish
Tailspot blenny

(first and last on list are on their way)

Crap called a teddy bear crap Xanthidae sp. , look it up on google. I have one, they are cute, but he LIVES in my refuge.

do u think the lights in there will be strong enough for a clam? i have a feeling they might be a little weak

I think that rock is too packed in man i would say take out some and use pratleys to make some nice structures

Lols only read it properly now.

If your rocks too tightly packed you are going to have detritus settling in there:whistling:
and that will be a waste of the rock,
Rather get a better skimmer i recommend the BB1000 cos its nice and small and packs a wicked punch and have a more sparse rock structure.

But then again i could be wrong:lol:
 
Looks good man. Scape looks very nice but watch out for a dead spot in the rear right corner. Mine had a similar issue and led to a lot of detritus build up

(That said, my cover was blown a few weeks back. Invite a friend to come collect some frags. He is like "WOW" check those brains, how much you pay? Those things are normally R500 +. Wife gives me this skeef look:whistling:. Then he looks at my denitrifier and controller - How much you pay for that??? I'm erm cant remember now, will have to look it up:eek:. Wife is muttering under her breath.....)

What sort of amateur/friend is he outing you like that? If he is new to such devious stuff you should brief him before he comes around!

My wife goes with me shopping so cant hide the prices plus she likes specific corals and fish - The expensive corals and fish:thumbup:
