Zeos

Should be good enough
Was there a differance overnight in coral extension?

George

I havent really inspected the tank as yet George. But will do so and keep you posted. The Zeo is in the same compartment as the Chaeto and LR.

Any feedback on the Zeo yet Mekaeel? George will zeo be a good idea in a FO system? And from what i understand so far all u need is to place it in an area of good flow and it will do everything itself correct? No need for reactor or anything else?

George. DO you just add it to the sump? What does it do for SPS's

Hello Tony

I usually put it in a bag so that I can clean (shake it every day ) so that the water does not channel and yes it is Ideal for SPS corals as they do need oligotrophic conditions. But go back on the thread it shows exactly how to use it.

George

Cool. Where are you based George and how can I get some in Jo'burg?

Can it be used with Prodibio which is the bacteria?

George. Where are you located? Do you courier around SA?

Sudan?? Darfur?? Just kidding. I'm in Jo'burg. I'll order some once you have stock again next month. Thanks for the info

Hello Scuba

Tunze zeolith is now R 282.17 for 750ml which is good for 1000lt tank

George

so you mean in a 40lt nano i would need 30ml to last around five months(judging by mekaeels usage on this thread-unless im mistaken) so this 750ml bottle will last me 10years??????!!!!

or am i missing some thing here?if it expires then i'll use the balance in one of my big tanks, does it expire after a certain time?

There is no expiry date on the container, so if you have a problem please feel free to come back to me. Basically zeolith is an stone that gradually degrades in the marine environment so by it has no expiry time. who says that Tunze so expensive R 282.72 for 10 years wow what a deal, but for a 40 litre nano tank there are specific chemicals such as Nano chem, go to www.tunze.com and check it out

George

hmm only questions with the nano chem are:

1.how much water does the 300ml treat?
2.how long does it last?
3.also current price please?

sorry but the site does not give the info
