The Birth of The Waterboys Nano - EVOLUTION / REVOLUTION

cool dean.......
yeah its a cool little surface skimmer however as i mentioned on your thread.....its really a mission to stabalise the water level with evaporation.......i have to adjust my height every second day....
the plus side is, you can put po4 removal media, carbon, filter floss, live rock pieces....whatever you feel like in the bio-reactor....iit really works well.
since you can buy tunze stuff at good prices there........if you get a osmolator you can make a awesome top up unit with the bucket the reefpack comes in......then you won't have all the damn issues i have.;)

I do not know first hand about Nanos, but if you build a small glass box inside the sump (Extra panel as a buffer) where the water level is always high before flowing over, would that not help to keep the skimmer at the same level- or am I missing something here??

lol....yeah....only thing is at the moment the sump is not connected.
the tank is just running like a glass box with the tunze reefpack doing all the work....
so hence the water level drops......shotto

good luck to the bulle this weekend dude.....not that they need it at the moment

dude your setup is AWESOME ,dont worry i havent forgot about the red monti frag for you
