been working on the sump design all day........its a real pain in the ass trying to get all the equipment into a small space......
ive made a stencil of the size of the pull out sump bottom, so im working on moving things around as we speak.
gotta get the stand design right before i hand it to northlands to manufacture.....
got the awesome rio moon light from eco-aquatics last night.
electricians busy with the db box too....
need to purchase a chiller...............i wanted buy the haliea HC380 but the place i was hopping to get it from at cost had sold it and the supplier no longer imports them.......my only other choice (affordability wise) is resun........has anybody used these chillers????

after consulting with calfo and a few others, ive decided to loose the calcium reactor.
for two main reasons...one being space, the other being no need to have one with the size nano im setting up
so i have a brand new reefoctopus cr170 calcium reactor for sale......../ willing to trade for brand new kalk reactor (prefferably AM or TUNZE)
sale price of calcium reactor would be R1400.00

oh for those who dont know, this nano reef will be dedicated to my son and will be called Mika's reef, im gonna include him as much as i can at this age to try get hin to enjoy the nano and hopefully drive him to wanna do something great for the hobby in future....
i recieved this really awesome compact , quite micro chiller today....rated for 300 litres

mika and my skimmer.....basically the same skimmer i ran on my old 6ft
digital ph meter
upgraded the db box i had previously to this one....just waiting for the second dual digital timer to arrive.....will be labelling the db box tonite
will be using this baby to label.....really neat

been trying to aclimatise Mika to marines......i guess he reccons Nemo is reallly tasty...

Marco all looking good, tell me where did you get the chiller from and how much? I need one for my Octagon. Other thing is how will you run the DB - will each piece of equipment be wired to each breaker switch, i.e. are you going to cut the wires?
i got it from julies pets. cassim has always helped and supported me and when i mentioned to him i may be looking for a skimmer he told me about this one......plus because of bussiness relationship he gave me a sweeeeeet deal.

i think i know where you heading ......guarantee fall away.........well i can promise you if i purchase good equipment and it fails, and the supplier tells me there is no guarantee because the plug has been cut off...........i would probably tell him/her that i cannot guarantee that i wont shuv that pathetic 2 pin plug horizontaly up there you know what. (seriously though....the person who invented a 2 pin plug should be shot)
