It being cleaned and given a Imarine Quality Control Inspection before take off, we are talking the equivalent of a fighter jet :lol:
This is is huge MONSTROUS BEAST, it makes me feel like a dwarf standing next to it...:thumbup:

The big one is not mine :( its Imarine property.
But the little one is :thumbup: and it meant raiding the piggy bank after saving up for a long time. I bought it used, so it wasnt that expensive ;) otherwise i would've ended up with a MONSTER Reef Octo or MONSTER Bubble Magus, awesome skimmers as well :thumbup:
I cant wait to see the skimmate on the Deltec AP902
 
You gonna find a big difference between the 850 and the 902 have fun its a wicked skimmer

The little one is a AP701 not AP850, im sure that there will be a big differrence seeings that the AP902 runs two eheim 1260.
Specificaions
AP701 (baby version of the AP851 but outperforms)
Tank rating - 1500litres, 750litres of air draw
AP851
Tank rating - 1500litres, 600litres of air draw
AP902
Tank rating - 2500litres, 1200litres of air draw

it seems to be the smallest of the lot and hence the big poo. I have an octo xp2000 and its hardly pulling anything out because i have a small bioload as soon as the load is amped up i will start seeing the poo come out
 
lol @ magman:lol::lol:Will take some pics of my BB 5000 as well. My bio-load is low atm and I'm not skimming that wet but will play around with the skimmer this weekend.

Recife- Those are great skimmers. Please start a thread and tell us about your tank:)

I have the same external skimmer, but gram for gram of bio-mass, my scrubber still out-performs the skimmer by at least twice the weight.
