No late night parties yet! Although, I seen the first pouch this morning, so they are starting to show their gender, which IMO is amazingly fast.
Well with a good "mommie" and excellent care, their "children" should develop well and show signs of it ... So don't be surprised with the proof of your wonderful nanny skills .... Be proud ... be very proud!
Thank you Chikaboo! I've never heard of them developing a pouch at 9 weeks before. I am very proud though! I got a 78% (29 out of 37) success with this batch. I also got my new air conditioner installed today, so I will be raising the next batch.
Great to hear .... I also found with my tanks that after I had a monster air con installed and the room temp stabalised everything else seemed to fall into place in terms of tank stabalization .... And the wife said we our selves could not afford an aircon but when the tank came along then we suddenly could afford it

I don't think these seahorses would have survived the next three months without one. We are just getting into the warm weather. This house already had two air conditioners The problem was that grandma doesn't want to turn it in. Now the seahorses have their own AC that grandma doesn't know about!

I'll have you know I finally got brine to adults. Unfortunately I didn't needed it, so they went to the gal that took the 426 fry....before I killed them off!
I've got a few people interested, but not nearly enough. I haven't officially listed them for sale yet. I'd like them to get a little bit bigger before they go.

I've talked to a few pet shops and so far most are interested in them, but I don't think anyone will want a whole batch. I'm going to meet with one in a week or so to see if we can agree on setup. I won't let him put the seahorses in his tanks that are connected to the wild caught fish that he has. I'm a bit picky on letting these guys go! So far we have agreed on price, if we can work out how they will be taken care of in his store, he'll have seahorses to sell.
That is exactly what I also want to avoid.
