Mine was also closed for weeks, which I thought was irritation by the dinos.
A few days ago it decided to open again in all glory.

@Dazz07 his GSP would also not open for a few weeks. Thinking out loud, mybe not a seasonal thing?

Updated pictures,green star polyps still won't open. Been around about a month now. They on my back glass. New edition has been a Rainbow montipora.

Anyone using a Samsung A32 please let me know your settings when taking coral pictures.

I'm using a A31 but I don't know any fancy stuff to edit. I only take pics don't know how to get it as good as @n3mo or @brentch

I use a dlsr camera and a phone with filter lense for blue light pics only.

Try adjusting your white balance on pro mode and see if it helps..

Started in June. They have started to open, however then close again. Wondering If my coral beauty not taken a liking to them.

I have also stopped dosing vibrant, as I have beaten GHA. Will take water to my LFS to be tested.

It's a puzzle, not to sure if Vibrant is the cause. It's possible. Vibrant has done its job. So have stopped dosing. GSP have started to open, then close again. Seems they waiting for Covid to be over.

This chap just loves attention. Have had him for 9 months. Not sure how long they can live in captivity for. His yet to be seen eating prepared foods..

I made mine a feeder out of a Contact lens case. Literally just drilled a few holes into the lids. I pop some frozen in there put it in the tank and he comes and picks. What floats away the others grab

So update: I lost my copper band end of December, had a heater failure. Which was silly as I don't need heaters in summer. I also lost a cleaner wrasse a few corals.

Tank has bounced back, so has the Aptsia no surprise. Will I get another CBB no. Yes I did have mine for over a year. I prefer them in the ocean. I have lost interest in the tank as well. So had no hands in the tank for months. Corals seem to be happier, so do the fish. Last water change was in December.

I have also stopped dosing as much. When I remember or feel like it. Also I only feed twice a week.

Update: lost a fairy wrasse to carpet surfing. Jumped out while feeding. Keen to add a powder brown to the tank. Hopefully I can source a small one soon.

So I am back with a 125L nano. I was not expecting to be back this soon. However I was gifted a tank and lights ect. Tank is busy doing its cycle. Which gives me time to do research on a few items I will need such skimmer and new lights.

Will take some pictures over the weekend. Price point and what they offer. Compared to what's on the market they seem ahead. Lights on on the way via Courier. I can't say I am excited
