Love looking in the rock pools, hoping to spot a jumping bean, convict tang. Yet to see a gem tang... maybe I will get lucky.

Gem tang i think if i remeber correctly you will need to go out to limestone. Cant remember really. But rarely if ever in a rockpool. Bit i do wish the best of luck bro. I also always looked in the wrong places lol
Not sure where the chaps caught them here in East London. Last season a few where caught. I will have better luck with goldies.
I never knew you would get them that far down the coast. Only ever saw posts of peeps getting them in durbs waters. I learn something new everyday hahahaa

Tank update: My green star polyps won't open. @Dazhad the same problem. Did a phosphate test, results where high. So got some seachem phosguard. Will test tomorrow and see if they have come down. @Seabass has kindly given me some Aquaforest life source to try. Some of my SPS have lost colour. Thus could be due to high phosphate levels?

my convict is an idiot fish, he comes from local waters. so it will explain his looting behavior. His a real bully... @Dexter so far his behaving.
I think all Convict are idiots aswell...Also had one i took over from a friend....Had him for a while, untill its ego got bigger than its brain. For some reason it took a liking to my purple tang and just start harrassing it. To the point were the purple tang would just stay behind a rock and eventually stopped eating. After a long battle i eventually got the convict caught and peace was restored.
my sump needs some grazing, he gets his own piece of land.. so he will be happy.. mine has started to bully my regal.
I also have added a piece of Aquaforest rock. The Mrs however did notice. Now where is the darn till slip. Think it's still in my wallet.
