I havent started up yet, but have it all gathering dust and will start a cube relativly soon. Would be good to catch up woth some Cape Town reefers soon.

Welcome back old friend.Glad to see you're still alive and kicking and now back.

I thought you were enjoying the sheep farming in the blizzard type life lol why did you return?

Blast from the past...
Anyway Welcome back.

There were a few reasons for the return and of my family, i was the least keen to be honest. But wife and boy are very happy in Cape Town and well settled so things are going well but i do miss Norway and the farm a lot. Been doing a lot of work with commercial drones in the past years with a Norwegian partner so still travel back to the land of deep snows quite often. RSA hasnt really impressed me coming back, so i get frustrated with the apathy and uselessness that's often found in RSA, things like getting fiber connected is just 6 steps harder than it should be simply because people dont really work that well here. But I am happy to be back in own culture and catching some huge tuna .

Not having a tank has been very hard, but a break is healthy for a reefer to focus onto what I like and what i want to achieve and the planning that goes into that journey. Starting my first tanks i didn't know what was possible. Now i know what i enjoy creating, so looking forward to getting back into it once space permits

Nice. We are looking at what you will be creating soon. Ironically, We are leaving Cape Town and I am hoping to be back in a year. We have a a Boyu 550tled full set up with stand with livestock and coral if you might be keen to start with a set up with lots of potential. We have that with extra if you like or with the standard kit. We have a Radion G6 that is quite lovely with the setup

thanks for the offer mate, really kind. To be honest ive always had a love of big tanks and big fish so a nano hasn't ever grabbed my attention. Good luck with the move though, where are you headed for?

Philippine Islands for a year . So looking at seeing many of the fish that were in my tank on the scuba and snorkel runs :) be back in Cape Town soon and hope the reefers here host a get together in kaapstad at some point and cool to meet up!
