Mekaeel's New SPS Reef tank

Don't use it, link it up the the new one.
You mean dont sell it? Hell no, im not hooking it up to this system. Too many glasses to clean :p

Just make the cube a bit smaller.

I really believe to have to big a display compared to the sump and Refugium.
Shaun, as much as i would love to, I want to keep this new system neat and tidy, everything hidden away. The only things that will be out will be the skimmer and chiller.
And then to think about wood work for the fuge :err:
If I had space like for eg. Alan, i would have defniatley hooked it up to the main system.
Or i might just hook the other little cube to this system...

Now that was a great read:), A chuckle as well. Love threads that have a story line with adventure and danger. Pity there were no women. Congrats Miki. Glad to see you graduating to bigger things.

Hey Henk, I did some calculations with supervisor of the building and he said the floor is strong enough to hold 1.5 tons per square metre or something like that :p
Anyway the last tank that stood was about 200 litres smaller than this with no hassels.
Also keep in mind. My current tank is standing on 1 square meter and the the total water volume is +- 750l. Now with the new tank, there is going to be more distribution rather than in one single spot. Another thing is, the tank is going to sit above the supporting beam.

You actually need to talk to the guys that designed and built the building when it comes to the design of the floor structure not the sup.... just be VERY careful.... that 200KGs might just be the straw that will break the camels back...

That wet dream seems closer than he thinks... Lol
