Matt's 7L Pico tank

Where can i get a tank like that?? F#@%ing cool little tank! Just shows you what is possible with a little thinking, some work and a lot of paitiance!!!!!

I have to agree there. For some years I ran a very small tank, not a commercial one, just a small home made glass tank. You have to wash your hand very well and without soap or anything like that as just a minute amount of detergent will be a problem. You should try and never use your hands and only use the same set of "tools" to work in the tank. I had some old plastic tongs to pick up stuff with. Also what I did was run a tank of water outside that was just circulating with some crushed coral. I would put some meat in it every three weeks to rot just to keep the bacteria going. This is emergency water since things happen really fast in such a small tank and since you have only such a small tank, maybe you dont have an RO system but buy from your LFS, which might be closed when you discover some major water problem.
