How is your chaeto reactor doing with that kind of bio load? More so now that you stopped carbon dosing.

I'll probably start taking out some fish that grow too large at some point if I see it becomes too much.

How is your chaeto reactor doing with that kind of bio load? More so now that you stopped carbon dosing.

So far nitrates seems steady on 50, so chaeto reactor plus more chaeto in sump under a grow light seems to be working at least as well as the carbon dosing, and much safer. But still early days, been feeding a bit heavier the last few days, so need to check nitrates on the weekend again.

WOW. Just did a count of all the new fish in the last month (excluding the anthias in the coral tank) and get to 27. Thats a lot of fish.

Yes, quite a lot, but at least they are all small except for the yellow long nose butterfly.
