Hammerheads New Tank Build

@buthcherman
I bumped the tank on the top intentionally. The stand feels strong when the tank is not ontop, no wobble. The stand is made out of 38mm tubing 3mm thickness. I did have to level it using a piece of cardborad on the right back corner.Could this be the reason for it not being steady? Maybe I should try it indoors where the floor is more level.

Do you think the material used for the stand is not suitable? :(

What a time lapse since last post, but i wont give in just yet.

While ive been quiet ive been labouring away at my new stand an heres the results a super sturdy stand (Thanks to all that helped in my DIY metal stand thread). Pictured below is the latest development, final water test and then to just give it a thorugh clean before i set this baby up.

I just have one problem which is this sagging return pipe any ideas as to how i can keep it up under the bracing. I was thinking a big plastic hair clip or one of those plastic clamps they sell at gelmar only problem is i may see it below the water line hence any ideas. I was also thinking of glueing a pvc flat piece to the pipe and clamping that to the brace. Besides that only the tedious task now is washing playsand and rinsing the aragonite.

Didnt realise how much flow i had til started adding stuff so will try and gt the tunses to blow behind the rockwork for now. Image uploader is offline so battling to add pics. Will do so soon though through photobucket or something.

looking good!..
personally i liked the original sump! a dsb does a lot more than removing p. not sure if it's advised but i also use the dsb in my sump for new fish additions.. keep them in there for a week or so to adjust and fatten up without having to compete with the other inmates.

My new improved "bomb" method, I noticed the current orca bag was clogging up a bit so I took the netting from a bag of gemsqauash which has larger holes. Cable tied the airline to the bottom so it wont move. Added some marbels to the botom so it will wheight down near the inlet of skimmer. Added a bit of new cubes the all the old cubes and topped off with new cubes and cable tied. Works like a "bomb"

Yup within minutes of adding to sump i could see mulm buildup being sucked up into skimmer intake.

Was wondering if those linear airstones (Air curtains) wont be a better bet and lie bomb on side.

P.S Hope u keeping my monti frag safe. ;)

Shot thanks. The truth is i need the space, vrou getting annoyed with all my testkits, nets etc laying on the side in a box. I also intend mounting my doser in the available space.
