It must depend on the tank, My top-up reservoir is about the same size and I fill it up once a week.

Cool, will leave it as is for now. Hopefully the MH lighting doesn't cut that in half.

Thanks, it will be a mission to do if there is water in the tank because you need to line it up.It obviously needs to be higher than the over flow box and straight Does the water in your tank just go down the over flow box?How big is the area?

Yip, that's the reason why I didn't do it, too much PT

My overflow is tiny, 15cm x 5cm, but it works. It's the same as all the tanks in the John Dory restaurants, built by Northlands.

hey that's the strength of young blood.

Make a big mistake with the euro bracing last night.I put masking tape on the piece that I was going to use to brace the tank with but forgot to take into account the thickness of the glass that it was lying on.Most of the silicone came off when I pulled the masking tape off I was covered in silicone Didn't think it was funny then.
