I don't recon it'll be too much of an issue. Detritus will always build up in any low flow areas, but you can just aim a power head at the rockwork and blow it all out, or use a thin pipe to suck it off.
One step closer.
I left the silicone about 100 hours to cure and it all looks good. After doing a quick clean I putt about 6kg of weight on it and will let it stand like that till the weekend to see if it holds.
Looking good. Holding thumbs it works. My experience with silicon on perspex have never been great because eventually it comes loose. Only thing that worked well for me was superglue gel and acrylic glue.
I really like the negative space of these small floating reefs. If I could have started my nano again I'd do it similarly. To hide the acrylic on the back it might be nice to add some encrusting leptoceris or GSP ect. To hide it a bit.
@Muzwaid karim Im not to sure at this stage to be honest I would love to fill it with Euphyllia with a focus on torch corals but with that said Ive also read it sting the other Euphyllia corals at times so some are lucky with a mixture some are not but still leaves hammer and frogspawn corrals will also look pretty good I think. What do you guys think?
