I have a slight fireworm and tubeworm outbreak ,after lotsa of reading i decided il try to add a wrasse to sort this out.

What wrasse is best fit for the job?also must be very nice looking at not break the bank either:p
Fish mates are
Regal angel
Lamarck angel
Rusty angel
Regal tang
perc clowns
filefish
2 sandsifter gobies goldhead
few snails
hermits

and few peices of mushroom

in 2metre tank and +- 3cm sandbed

I had a 6 line in my previous tank - i love him! never had/heard of any problems with 6lines

6line is the best, i have one and he keeps my clams happy and pest free, also my zoas

i also have a leopard wrasse, keeps things neat and tidy

ive got a delightful 6line, tame and fat, but he doesnt nescesarily go for bristle worms, pods he smashes though. id look at the lunar (moon wrasse) although i dont have experience with solarius so cant comment on them. leopard wrasse cdont normally feed on brisle worms either.

So many wrasse to choose from, let me do lots more research on these guys.thnks for the advice peeps

How about a short nosed hawkfish.
It will most def sort out your tube worm problem.

short nosed hawkfish

Just keep them well fed, they will chow your cleaner shrimp and snails... I had a nutrient problem and I reduced feeding to once a day for 2 weeks and my hawkie started eating my snails and killed one of my skunk cleaner shrimp. He also went aggro on my hermits... As soon as I upped the feeding again he was well behaved. The local Banana wrasse are cool and the 6 lines are good too IMO

The 6line seems like the favourite so far and looks very cool aswell.

what about the longnose hawk?

Longnose hawks are pretty awesome. Quite peaceful as hawks go, though will still eat shrimps.

Why don't you go for a little group of Halichoeres chrysus? If you add a group of small ones/females then one will turn male. They add a lot of colour and movement to a tank and don't bother any other fish IME.

How about a leopard wrasse?
Have one of these in my tank and he is awesome.
