Zetlight LED club

I do not own a Zetlight, but looking at the other Zetlights available form Jungle Aquatics, I do not see one that is suitable for me for a TL550.

Maybe I'm wrong, please anybody correct me if I missed a suitable option.

Hi guys considering getting zetlight for my lt550 witch I would fit in to the hood any advice on coverage and witch will work best.
i had a pharos 90w led over my tl 550 it worked great only problem is u have to go topless

I was cleaning my tank this evening and to my horror I noticed my entire row of Purple Leds are burnt out or just glowing slightly, obviously in the process of dying out. I haven't even had my unit for more than a year. I purchased it last year June. First it was a screeching fan and now this..... rather disappointing experience.

Just bought the Zetlight 6600 for my new 4 ft setup. Tank is still being built, but i am amazed with light quality of the unit... as i had to test it over my Nano. Such a huge difference compared to normal t5s. Thanks @TheWaterboy for the unit.

Hi guys, what time frame are you currently running on your zetlights?

Would anyone be willing to share some insight into the setup of these lights, particularly 6600, for lights coming on at 10:00 and off at 22:00
I had a bit of a fiddle, seems complicated

@CameL so it all depends on the type of corals you want to keep, you don't ant to give them shock treatment, when I first got my ZT6600, I played with it until I felt it was suitable for the corals I had, then I tried a few settings and now I have set it to the factory settings, but am thinking that the daylight factory setting is a bit too long so will look at reducing that by an hour or too...

the easiest is to start of with the factory settings and tweak according to your liking or rather your corals preference of lighting...

whilst we are on asking questions:

Does the wifi module for these lights enable you to control the specific led's or just the groupings of led's like all the pinks or all the blues etc...o_O

Thanks for the reply.

I would imagine thebwifi module would give as much control as the remote. Because ultimately they control the driver and the leds are connected in series to that driver. Therefore all get controlled at once. Or you would and up with 32 buttons for 32 leds.

Is there a way to demo your current lighting settings? Say a 24 your period over 24 minutes?

There is a demo, setting which will give you the basic demo form sunrise to sunset, but not sure if it actually demos the settings you have chosen...good question...

@CameL , who did you buy light from???....they should know how to run and set up the unit to particular conditions??

if you dont come right give me a call on my cell and ill help you out....really really easy

Hi guys
Does anyone have any experience on the performance and par settings on the zetlight lancia range. I'm looking at getting a couple of them cause of the sleek look, you can hide them very well. But I don't want buy them if they not going to perform.

ZT6600, whole UV string dead, they look burnt. Bought from aquarium world, who carry's the warranty?
Anyone know?

well the place you bought it from must carry the warranty if its legitamate stock....
if they dont want to help, i can help, either buy talking to the agent or you would need to purchase and replace the led board.
easy fix.
thats caused by moisture by the way from led either being very close to the water surface.
but if under warranty it will be looked at and normally if it good condition they would replace the board for you

Thanks, the unit was about 20cm from the water, didn't think that's too close.
Thanks for your willingness to help, massively appreciated.
Finding the slip and will give you a call.
