Has anyone had problems with the fan being noisy when it comes on ? Its noisy for a few minutes than its silent again .

Yip mine started off like that. But only when the daylight comes on. Eventually it made the scratchy sound all the time the flan came on. Had the fan replaced.

Just joined! Grabbed a 6500 for the new 60x60x55 !

I love the clouds effect, but is there a way to have the daily changes do clouds and lighting on random as well, or will I need to switch that feature on every time manually?

I have for over 2 years zet 6100 and for 12 month zet6600.The best thing I have done. I am changing color every month just to give different view of colors. Very easy to set up colors. Did not check different lights. Good luck.

Marco from the Water Boy knows exactly how to set up the Zetlight. My tank is nine months old and had the Zetlight 6600 for two months now. It made a huge difference, not only to the growth of my corals, but also the stress that the T5 lights were placing on the fish. Tank size. 1.2m X 0.6m wide x 0.7m high.

setting of Zetlight. It depend completely on your set up of tank , rocks and of course corals. I would say there is no fix setting. Each person sets the light color according to there own needs or liking. You have to experiment to find the best color for your fish, corals and overall display.

Hi guys considering getting zetlight for my lt550 witch I would fit in to the hood any advice on coverage and witch will work best.

I doubt that a Zetlight would be happy within the hood of a TL550
Too close to the water, unless you can retain the splash guard. Then you need to make provision for efficient airflow.

Thanks @RiaanP might have to remove the top and build a small cover to cover the skimmer ...................
Would the zt1201 be ok good ore do I have to go bigger?
