We are still supplying the fake rock to various clients, and I must say, some of it is quite impressive. Below are a few examples of what has been made to order.

I personally use fake rock with no artificial corals.
In my sump, I have moved away from LR and have instead installed a reactor with 3 litres of Seachem Matrix. At a cost of only R245 per litre to run my system, it certainly gave me the budget to invest in my own design whereby I can attach my LIVE SPS and not worry about falling rock and unwanted critters.

Yes. Just like real rock. However in a fish only sysyem it's easier to remove and "scrub" the rock outside the tank. A well maintained tank shouldn't really have macro algae in it.

Looks really good. For sizing reference, what's the tile size in pic 1?
And average pricing for the three rocks in last pic without corals on them?

personally I'm not a big fan of fake corals but the ones on the second picture look very natural I must admit.. also if someone wants to keep fish only but would like Sonera color in the tank as well it's a good idea since it won't be necessary to keep the elements in check

Size of tile is about 30cm. Pricing, the one in the first picture has just been brought by our supplier, pricing hasn't been finalised. The other pieces are orders that have been completed for clients and I cannot say the cost. Each piece is invidually made and costed.
