All i can complain about is, its very bright.. actually hurts my eyes when i look at my tank

must have cost a fortune! :) .. You going to keep sps?

Hello Jaques,
just a question, will you leave it in this hight? Depending on the lightspread i'm sure you have to hang it round about 10-15 cm over the Surface to get a great result. It's hard to see on this pictures but if you need info let me know.

Best regards
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas

I think the reason the light is higher of the water is to acclimatise the corals to the new higher powerd light.

Jaques nice to see the unit running looks stunning.

Please keep me updated on the performance, all or any input would be appreciated.

Enjoy mate, see you when you are next in Joburg.

wow that looks.awsome man...like your scaping aswell...

saw this in the metal today and WOW!!!! its a freaking awesome bit of kit and worth every sent! The pics dont do it justice

Ill just say it was a tiny bit over 10K ;) (Thanks for TSR for the good service like always)

The unit is currently at 30CM from the waterlevel. The sps highest up is showing awsome polyp extension.. And my clams on the ground are fully open and seems to be happy...

I might lower it another 5cm later on but i think ill lose the spread over the tank.. the tank is 75cm wide..

Even the one SPS that hasnt been really doing well suddenly showing polyp extension from changing to the LED unit 2 days ago.. not sure if its the water quality that got better but im really happy..
