Started assembly with the skimmer section and the return section of the sump and silconed onto the base, a person does not realize from the drawing to reality how big a item is, but as Ive read look after the water and the fish will be healthy, so Im not sorry the sump is 1000[l]x670[w]x530[h];)

Bruce, Looking great. Really nice to see your drawings come to life :v_SPIN::v_SPIN:

Okay now im getting to a point where I need to start design a electrical circuit. What are the most important electrical items required[skimmer, pump etc.] and what should I plan for in the future. I would like to lay all conduit in the brick structure so as to keep it as neat as possible and a independent electrical circuit from the main DB.

Hi Bruce - Just a suggestion, mate. I now have 2 x TS2's and there is a HUGE difference between the two. The one, has a ReSun King 3 pump on it (my first TS2), and the second one, a ReefOctopus OTP2000. The skimmer with the OTP2000 pump on, skims just about a thousand times better, than the other one. There is a major visual difference in the amount of bubbles created.

I am getting my new camera phone tomorrow. Hopefully I can takes some pics tomorrow evening or over the weekend. Will then post that everyone can see the diff....

So - just ask Ferdie which pump the TS2 has on?

hey bruce , things are looking great man.:)
Closed loop system is where you drill holes in dt and the power head is at the outside.
there are some advantages, none of the heat of the powerhead is in the water and no powerhead in water that will take up space, disadvantages is that is more effort and more expensive.
