Kevin, if you can put up with the noise then rather remove the air silencer, they restrict the airflow a bit.

Nice pair of skimmers you got there :)
 
Will do. Thanks for that. I got teh TS2 because I just could get my Tunze to produce decent skiimate. Day before I got the TS2 (thanks Sean!) my Tunze suddenly took of....so now I have two skimmers running on my system.

Hi all - Phat: how are you. Sorry - I've very quiet. I have had some major changes (and problems - in my life - I am back in my previous career - IT).

This is after +-3-4 days of skimming (after cleaning).

Hey M, you must have an understanding miss.. if I remove the silencer I get a mooi klap !

Is there really such a big difference?, I'm gonna run some tests. No worries Phat I will post some smelly stuff in a day or so, just washed the cup.

Hi rory , is your skimmer set to skim wet judging from the skimmate color
 
Hi guys. Funny thing with my 2 skimmers though - both my skimmers are set to skim "wet", but the 2nd one (the Red Sea Prizm Pro) seem to skim more dry, than the WeiPro. If I had to stop the WeiPro, then the Prizm Pro would fill up it's cup in 30 minutes with "wet stinking stuff" :)
