Scubaninja's Reef - Take 2

update - clownfish reintroduction was not succesful. Did a rescape last night as it was time to fix all the problems i had with adding pumps too late into the game. Got more caves and it allows for better flow so i thought i would kill to birds with one stone. Seems i killed one and the other came and left me a present on my head. Poor little clown is battered and his gorgeous fins(much more colourful than the bigger one by far) are no more. He is back in the sump recooperating. He's eating and seems to be over the shock but it is a sad day. Was a 50-50 shot. looks like it will have to wait for the 2m to be up and running where i will put the baby into the bug tank and sump the bigger one(1.2metre sump) until the baby is well established. bicolour is a happy little pig, showing more and more of its pretty self which is really nice. Its not lekker when you buy an expensive fish and it never shows itself

Sorry about your clown Scuba.I am sure he will be much happier in the 2m though.

cant wait to see this all done :)

sold already?

Hi S/NINJA i love the way that you lift your L/R from the ground i think that a lot of smaller critters can hide in there whiteout been eaten by the bigger fish ,i gather it helps as well with the circulation of the water
you dint mind if i steel this idea for my setup as well thanks!

i stole it already :) but i did pas the coolness credit to scuba

go for it ben:thumbup: its actually good for all the fish;) its just high enough that the bigger fish go in sideways, but inside they can swim up straight inside the stand. everything sleeps inside there, the tangs, the blenny, the trigger now too:thumbup:

by the way, something for the GURUs:p If you see in the video that my tang has black patches on its flanks and it was swimming rather sluggishly. It only appeared in about the 5hours i was out in the afternoon, when i got back the skimmer was overflowing, and the temp was fine. could it be the high potency stuff going back into the system, or is it something else? I did a WC with some NSW that i had and in the early hours of the morning at about one just before my moonlights go out it was swimming properly. and he's a regular busy body again. fat fish;)

I must be saying young man these are the strangest Angels I have ever seen.:lol::lol:
Its more like a lesser spotted Turtle Tang

Haha thanks? it got a bit of its caudal fin chomped out before i got him but he's my favorite. he hides in the shadows at night and all you can see is two flickers of yellow. awesome stuff
