There is about 4cm that's submerged into the water. As the food defrosts it starts to sink. Some fish just go and fetch the food from inside. Almost no food gets to the bottom as they eat it quick enough. They know where the food is and around about when they get fed.

It's really great for flakes. That's the main reason I got it. Flakes stay in one place. Nothing gets wasted or gets into my Aragonite.

Bought it from jungle but it's made for braced tanks. So I added a piece of perspex to mount it. You could probably make one.

Means a lot coming from you. Thanks to @Hails for those. Valentines massacre.
Nah dude, it is really well done.
When I look back to my first tank compared to your first, yours is really an awesome achievement over mine.
Whatever you are doing, keep it up, it is really working well! :)
I still owe @Hails and @butcherman a visit...*adds zoas to list*

Gee, thanks. I don't know what to say. When I grow up I want to be like you :)

So it seems that my black ice clows are spawning. They have been diggin up the sand and moving frags around. If they do lay, I think I am going to give it a try and see if I can't raise them. Any advice is welcome but for now I am going to try the method that @Trev92 shared.
